People seem to hate maths until they see that it can be taught a better way!

I love everyone’s reaction when they come into the MathsBuddy office and see something that looks more like a toy shop rather than a classroom. For over 20 years I’ve been very lucky to teach children, advise teachers and show parents some of the ways in which maths can be made more meaningful when it is presented in a way that makes sense to the learner. I firmly believe that everyone can do maths. Unfortunately inappropriate teaching methods and the pressure of learning for the test puts many people off and stops people actually achieving their real potential.

My motto is: There’s always a better way. You just need to find that special person who can help you overcome your difficulties. Just find them and follow their advice: they are worth their weight in gold.
